We’re incredibly excited to announce our next show will be at @aoniafest at The Corporation in Sheffield.

We weren’t planning on playing Quest Fest this y

We weren’t planning on playing Quest Fest this year, but we wanted to offer people who were coming to see us at HRH a chance to make a home town show. We’ll be playing the set we planned for HRH at PMQF this year.

If you had tickets to HRH in Birmingham, we’re offering the first 50 people a chance to come to Power Metal Quest Fest for free. Just send an email to powermetalquestfest@gmail.com with proof of purchase and we’ll sort out some complimentary tickets.

If you already have a ticket to Quest Fest, we’ll fix you a happy photo with the band, perhaps let you all pick some of the songs on the setlist. We’ll work together to see what we can do. You are special and mean the absolute world to us and we don’t want you to suffer from our decision to pull out of the fest.

There are some great bands in the works for Power Metal Quest Fest 2023 and the festival is dedicated to supporting upcoming and emerging talent as well as independent artists.

Official Hammerfest Announcement

We’ve been through the statements and comments surrounding Hammerfest coming in from artists and fans alike together, and after assessing this situation, we have made the unanimous decision to pull out of Saturday’s show at Hammerfest.

Cancelling a festival appearance after weeks of preparation, that we are fully able and ready to play, is not something we take lightly, and we can only offer our most sincere apologies to those of you who have bought tickets and were looking forward to seeing us this weekend.

Sometimes the right thing to do isn’t necessarily the easy thing to do. We know we will be letting some of our biggest supporters down, but our values lie in supporting our musical community, and ultimately, we believe artists, whether they are signed, independent or unsigned, deserve to be paid for their work and contribution fairly.

We also believe in transparent ticketing and terms for the audience and have heard from many of you about outstanding refunds and other ongoing ticketing issues.

Dakesis therefore cannot support and work with a franchise that is clearly not upholding these same beliefs.

We hope you understand that sometimes solidarity is needed to pave the way for a better and fairer future.

Thank you so much to Nikos Siglidis and @thesilentrage for putting together this incredible lineup.

We met so many wonderful bands and people and we can't wait to come back.

We've got a few weeks of rehearsals before Hammerfest in Birmingham and we've also got a few listening sessions planned for the preparation of album 4. We have some awesome new music in the works and we can't wait to get into the studio for some pre production work.
